Hastings Traffic, Parking Impacted By Gas Line Work

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- A Con Edison project to repair a gas line on Warburton Avenue between North Street and the Post Office parking lot is causing parking restrictions and road closures in the village of Hastings-on-Hudson.

The following restrictions/closures will be from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays:

No parking will allowed on southbound side of Warburton Avenue from North Street to Protection Engine Company.

Warburton Avenue southbound at North Street will be closed to vehicular traffic. All southbound traffic will be diverted to North Street. Hastings police officers will assist large trucks and buses south on Warburton Avenue.

The Post Office parking lot will be open.

Once the excavation process is completed and a safe line is found, Con Edison will begin repairs, which will lessen the required parking restrictions and road closures.

Additionally, Hastings police will be on-site and make every effort to accommodate residents/business owners in the affected area.
