The Jackson Ave. and North Sprain Road intersection on the Hastings-on-Hudson border will be getting needed reconstruction.

• A dangerous intersection at Jackson Avenue and North Sprain Road near Sprain Ridge Park will be improved with the acquisition of property for a road safety project.

• The Dobbs Ferry School District announced that the Board of Education and the Dobbs Ferry United Teachers have agreed to a new contract.

• "The Moving Wall," a replica of the Washington, D.C., Vietnam Veterans Memorial, will make its only metro-area stop next week when it is exhibited at Zinsser Park in Hastings-on-Hudson from July 4 to July 7.
