WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The fireworks celebration scheduled for Friday night at Matthiessen Park in Irvington has been postponed as a result of rain.
The event has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 5 at 9 p.m. at Matthiessen Park. Parking will be difficult, notes Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner.
The town of Greenburgh will hold its second annual fireworks celebration on Saturday, July 19 at 9 p.m. at A.F. Veteran park. Rain date is July 20 at 9 p.m.
Dobbs Ferry is not having fireworks this year because its waterfront park is being renovated.
