DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. There will be several meetings taking place in Dobbs Ferry this week as the various boards in the village plan to discuss local issues.
The Dobbs Ferry Board of Trustees will be meeting Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. in Village Hall to consider a number of actions in the village.
The board will consider authorizing the mayor to enter into a license agreement with Halfmoon River Club for a permanent easement to extend the work of the Waterfront Shoreline Stabilization and Upland Improvement Project into its property. The property owner will contribute $75,000 towards the village to help share the cost of the project.
Expanding the engineering and consulting services of McLaren Engineering for the extension of the shoreline stabilization project south will be considered.
The board will consider expanding services with McLaren to perform a mandated review for a proposed fishing and boat dock pier at Waterfront Park.
A proposal for engineering services for spill prevention and countermeasure control plan, storm water outfall inspection and annual report preparation will be considered.
A request from the library board to transfer $1,000 into the library trust fund will be discussed by the board.
The Dobbs Ferry Zoning Board of Appeals will be meeting Wednesday night at 8 p.m. in Village Hall. The board will be having a public hearing on an application from a resident for variances to erect a new one car garage on their property.
The Dobbs Ferry Board of Education will be meeting Thursday night at 7 p.m. in the high school/middle school library to discuss issues in the district.
