DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- If you're interested in sitting in on a village board meeting this week or just want to enjoy a free concert, there are plenty of events to do just that.
On Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., the Dobbs Ferry Public Library will be hosting story time for young children. Then from 6-7 p.m. the library will have Read Together Time Tales Meeting featuring "Judy Moody & Stink: The Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Treasure Hunt" by Megan McDonald.
At 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the Waterfront Park will have another free live concert hosted by the Dobbs Ferry Summer Music Series. This week's featured artist is Carrie Jackson. After the concert there will be a movie night at the waterfront. The movie is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. In case of rain the movie night will be cancelled.
On Thursday, the Dobbs Ferry Planning Board will be meeting to discuss applications from local residents. The board meeting starts at 8 p.m. and is open to the public.
The Dobbs Ferry Public Library will have Nursery Rhyme Time on Thursday Aug. 4 at 11 a.m.
On Thursday, the Board of Education will be meeting at 7 p.m. in the Middle School conference room.
