The 77-year-old man who went missing in Westchester on Saturday was found Sunday afternoon and is safe.

Timothy Smith returned to his Mount Vernon home on his own, according to the New York Public Safety Department.

An alert has been issued after a 77-year-old Westchester man who was last seen Saturday afternoon.

Timothy Smith is a 77-year-old missing vulnerable adult with dementia and may be in need of medical attention, according to the New York Public Safety Department.

He was last seen on Cedar Avenue in Mount Vernon at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

He is described as being 5-feet tall and weighing 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes and wearing an off-white striped polo shirt, blue jeans, a white cowboy hat, and glasses with rhinestones on them.
