Movie Sets and More in Dobbs Ferry and Hastings

There's always plenty to do in the villages, but this weekend receives a little star power when Jesse Eisenberg, star of the Oscar-winning film "The Social Network," comes to Dobbs Ferry Sunday. Eisenberg will be in town Sunday to film scenes for his new movie, "Predisposed." The filming will take place on Cedar Street between Broadway Avenue and the Oak Street parking lot. If movies aren't what you're looking for then check out the number of other events happening in town this weekend. The Hastings Farmers Market returns Saturday in the lot in front of the Municipal building and the library. Come any time from 8:30 a.m.to 2 p.m. On Saturday Dobbs Ferry celebrates World Wide Knit in Public Day at the Mead House on Elm Street. The Rivertowns Guild will be celebrating the day with Traditional Fiber Arts including knitting, embroidering, weaving, needlepoint and more. Guests are encouraged to bring snacks and the event runs from 12 p.m.to 4 p.m. On Saturday the Greenburgh Library will have a showing of the Form & Function Art Exhibit from 2:30 p.m.to 4:30 p.m. The exhibit features work from two artists and includes pastels, photography and more. Come out and see the Dobbs Ferry high school seniors receive their diplomas on graduation day Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Ardsley will be hosting the Red Bull Mini-Wee soccer classes at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday. The Chemka Pool will be open from 10 a.m.to 8 p.m. all weekend in Hastings as well. Is there anything we missed? What are you doing this weekend?
