Movies, Concerts and Shows in Town This Weekend

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – There will be plenty of 9/11 ceremonies this weekend with the 10th anniversary of the tragic day coming up on Sunday. The villages will be hosting several other events to keep spirits up as well though, with concerts, movies and other shows.

On Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Dobbs Ferry Farmer's Market is back on Cedar St. and will have some of the freshest products in Westchester for sale.

On Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. the Fulton Park in Hastings will host the September Concert.

Starting at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Ashford Park in Ardsley will be hosting its annual Back to School Movie in the park. This week's movie is "Rio."

On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Dobbs Ferry High School will be hosting a community service fair.

On Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Hastings Farmer's Market will be in the Municipal Building parking lot with all of its fresh produce.

The Dr. Matthew Hertz Memorial Tennis Tournament will take place in Ardsley on Saturday and Sunday.

The Take Me to the River Music and Art Festival will take park in Draper Park in Hastings on Saturday. The festival will run from noon to 9:30 p.m. and will feature a day of music and art.

Saturday at 4 p.m. is when you can catch the Hastings Helps the Hungry benefit concert. The concert is led by Grammy award winning jazz artist John Patitucci and will be held at the First Reformed Church at 18 Farragut Ave.

The Kelty Twins will be playing classic rock at the Pumpernickel Restaurant in Ardsley on Saturday starting at 9 p.m.
