Pair Of Missing Infants Located In New York City

The two infants that were taken by their teenage mothers early Saturday morning in upstate New York and believed to be in danger, prompting a statewide alert, were located Saturday afternoon in New York City.

Shortly after noontime, police said that the infants and their mothers were found safe at an undisclosed location in the city.

A New York State Active Missing Child alert has been updated to included to include two infants who are with their teenage mothers from upstate and who may be traveling to the New York City area, the New York State Public Safety Department said Saturday morning.

Malani Ventura, 3 months old, is with her mother, 17-year-old Selena Ventura, and believed to be endangered, authorities said. They were last seen on East State Street in Salamanca, Cattaraugus County at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18. They may be traveling to Suffolk County on Long Island.

They are believed to be with Keshauna Boggs and her 29-day-old child, Londyn Richardson, and are driving a 2007 blue Honda CRV with New York registration HDL-6588. 

Malani is described as being white, 2-feet tall, weighing 20 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Selena Ventura is white, 5-foot-2, 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Boggs is described as black, 5-foot-2, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Londyn Richardson is just over a foot and weighs 10 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

The alert includes all counties in the Hudson Valley, including Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess and Orange.

Missing Child Alerts are issued by the state when children are believed to be endangered. Unlike Amber Alerts that remain for in effect for seven hours, Missing Child Alerts may remain active for 72 hours.
