HASTINGS, N.Y. – The Mobile Shredder is coming to Hastings-on-Hudson on Saturday for residents to destroy unwanted personal papers and documents, and avoid identity theft.

The shredder will be in the Zinsser Parking Lot, at 134 Southside Ave., from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is available only to Westchester County residents.

Shredding is available for pre-approved credit card applications, old credit card bills, receipts, bank statements, old tax returns and any other documents that contain your name, address and other identifying information.

Each resident can bring a maximum of four file boxes, approximately 10-by-12-by-15 inches.  All papers must be free of clips, bindings, folders and files.  No bound or hardcover ledger books are allowed.
