HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Parking will be banned on several streets in Hastings next week to allow for milling and paving operations.

The village of Hastings announced in an email that the following roads will have parking bans from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, July 30 to Thursday, Aug. 2: Mount Hope Boulevard from Jefferson to Rosedale avenues, Hall Place, Goodwin Street, Hudson Street from Summit Street to Broadway, and Warren Street from Summit Street to Broadway.

“It could be a bother to some people who are used to parking on the street,” said Goodrun Cirulli, a Yonkers resident who was visiting her daughter on Mount Hope Boulevard. “But it won’t bother me because I can just park in my daughter’s driveway.”
