HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – An early nor'easter followed last week's Hurricane Sandy into Westchester County beginning early Wednesday afternoon with a mix of rain and snow with increasing winds.
Hastings residents visited the local A&P and other stores to restock their pantries and grab rock salt and other items.
"I'll be trying to keep the carts out of the parking area, because it will be busy," A&P employee Greg Riti said as he wrangled a dozen food carts. "I guess it's snow this time."
