Preview of the Dobbs Ferry Planning Board Meeting

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - With businesses potentially coming and going and some residents looking to alter their property, the Dobbs Ferry Planning Board will meet Thursday night. The board is schedule to meet at 8 p.m. to discuss several proposals in the village.

One of the most talked about issues in Dobbs Ferry will be discussed Thursday with a pre-submission conference for the Site Plan Approval for a proposed Walgreens at 11-17 Ashford Avenue.

A continuation will be had for the pre-submission conference for the re-subdivision approval for the Dobbs Ferry Lutheran Church.

There will be a public hearing for a Site Plan Approval for the construction of an in-ground pool in a resident's back yard.

There will be another public hearing for a Site Plan Approval for the construction of a new single family residence on Appleton Place.

The construction of a proposed basketball court/enclosed play area on Judson Avenue will be discussed in a public hearing as well.

The construction of a new single family residence on Beechdale Road will be another public hearing topic on Thursday.

The meeting is also scheduled for a continuation of pre-submission conference for Site Plan Approval for the construction of a multi-story addition on the medical building at 88 Ashford Avenue.

Mercy College will also be discussed with the continuation of its discussion of a Draft Environment Impact Statement.
