The co-ed program will introduce the basics of basketball such as dribbling, passing, floor positioning and shooting.
Registration begins Monday, Dec. 30, online or you can go to the James Harmon Community Center, at 44 Main St, during normal business hours: Monday-Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Friday, 9 a.m. to noon.
All practices and games will take place on Saturday mornings at Hillside Elementary School from Jan. 25 through March 8. There will be no sessions on Feb. 15 or Feb. 22.
First- and second-graders practice from 10 to 11 a.m., and kindergarteners play from 11 a.m. to noon. The first two weeks will consist of skill assessment, after which participants will be placed on teams.
The fee is $50 per child for Hastings-on-Hudson Village residents and $55 for Hastings-on-Hudson School District Residents.
