Roadwork To Close New York Thruway Exit Wednesday

IRVINGTON, N.Y. – A southbound Interstate 87 exit ramp will be closed Wednesday for maintenance work, the New York State Thruway Authority announced Tuesday.

Officials say the southbound Exit 7A ramp to the Saw Mill River Parkway will be closed between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. as crews work on the road.

Motorists will be alerted about expected delays through electronic signboards and the Highway Advisory Radio at 530 AM, officials said.

Thruway officials noted several detours to the Saw Mill River Parkway will be in place:

• Continue on I-87 southbound to Exit 4 (Cross County Parkway). Take Cross County Parkway West to Saw Mill River Parkway.

• Take I-87 southbound to Exit 8A (Route 119). Make a right on Route 119 and then a left on Undercliff Avenue to the Saw Mill River Parkway.

• Westbound I-287 motorists should take Exit 1 (Route 119). Make a left on Route 119 and then a left on Undercliff Avenue to the Saw Mill River Parkway.
