Several Marijuana Arrests in Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry

ARDSLEY, N.Y -- There have been a series of arrests stemming from marijuana possession in Ardsley and Dobbs Ferry recently. Four separate arrests were made from the various cases.

 On June 17, a car was seen in the high school parking lot on Farm Road at approximately 11:30 p.m. Officers investigated and smelled marijuana in the car before arresting the minor for possessing a controlled substance. A similar case involved a minor being arrested for marijuana possession on June 18 on Concord Road at approximately 10 p.m.

On June 16, another arrest was made in Ardsley after a routine traffic stop of a car heading south on Route 9A. The vehicle was stopped and an officer detected and found marijuana on the individual. The arrest was made at approximately 8:30 p.m.

An arrest was made at Clark Academy in Dobbs Ferry on June 13 for an unlawful possession of marijuana violation. The school principal called the police and said the staff had located a student that had marijuana on him. The 17-year-old resident of the school had seven small bags of marijuana on him and was issued an appearance ticket.
