Severe Thunderstorms Headed For Westchester

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning until 11 p.m. for Westchester and surrounding counties.

Thunderstorms are expected to develop Monday afternoon and evening as a cold front moves into the area. Some storms could be severe, with large hail, damaging winds and heavy rain. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 87 degrees. Southwest winds of around 11 miles per hour are expected.
