HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. It's not too late to register for the seventh annual villagewide tag sale run by the Hastings-on-Hudson's Parks and Recreation Department.
The huge tag sale, which gives residents the opportunity to sell their own items, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 14.
Registration, which costs $10, ends July 2. Those who register will have their addresses included on a villagewide map that is given to shoppers. Registration fees help pay the cost of advertising.
Bryan Healy, recreation assistant for the Parks and Recreation Department, has been working with tag sale participants for the past five years.
When someone registers for the sale, we basically do the advertising, said Healy.
In the past two years, Healy has posted tag sale ads in many local news outlets.
So far we have 20 homes that have signed up, said Healy. Last year, 50 homes participated in the tag sale.
To register, stop by the James V. Harmon Community Center, 44 Main St.
