Six Arrested for Trespassing in Hastings Park

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Six people were arrested for trespassing at MacEachron Park in the early morning hours of Aug. 3.

Those arrested were 21-year-old Nadine Marucci, 22-year-old Gabriella Benito, 20-year-old Alexander Finateri, 22-year-old Christopher Bray, an unnamed 19-year-old female and 20-year-old Dui Ferreira. Marucci and the unnamed female are from Hastings, while Benito is a Dobbs Ferry resident. The rest are residents of White Plains.

Police said Benito was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and was issued a village ordinance summons for having an open container of alcohol in a village park. Police said Bray was also issued a village ordinance summons for having an open container of alcohol in a village park. All were released without bail and are due in Hastings justice court Aug. 24.

Also on the police blotter:

James Siegal, a 46-year-old resident of Yonkers, was arrested Aug. 5 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and registration. Police said officers were investigating a motor vehicle accident on Warburton Avenue at Washington Avenue. In the process, they learned of Siegal's suspensions. Police said Siegal was issued traffic citations and was released on $200 bail. He is due to appear in court Aug. 24.

Darren Morris, a 27-year-old resident of the Bronx, was arrested Aug. 4 for several charges stemming from a traffic stop. Police said Morris gave patrol officers false information about his identity. As a result, police said Morris was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation, false personation and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Police said Morris gave officers false information to avoid being arrested for an outstanding warrant of arrest from the New York State Division of Parole. Morris was arrested and remanded to county jail. His vehicle was towed and impounded.
