HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. A Graham Windham School student was arrested after allegedly barricading himself in a room with a staff member and not allowing anyone to enter or leave the room, Hastings police said.
Tyrone Turner, a 19-year-old Graham School student, was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, which is an A misdemeanor, on April 30. Turner locked himself in a room with a female staff member, stood in front of the door and prevented the woman from leaving, police said. Police said he was arraigned and sent to the Westchester County Department of Correction on $100 bail.
Neighbor altercation. Police said a 54-year-old female was arrested and charged with second-degree harassment, which is a violation. Police said the woman got into an argument with her neighbor in their apartment complex April 24. Police said the harassment consisted of illegal contact such as pushing just before 8 a.m. After an investigation the woman was arrested May 2.
