DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. With the holiday weekend over its time for various village boards to get back in the swing of things just like the local residents. Take a look at meetings coming up this week in the village.
Dobbs Ferry will be holding an annual meeting for the Local Development Corporation on Thursday, Jan. 5 at 7 p.m. in Village Hall. The meeting will hold appointments of the chief executive officer, the chief financial officer and the acting secretary. There will also be an approval of the 2012 budget and the proposed 2013-2017 budgets. The meeting will also feature the adoption of a mission statement, along with the annual review of various guidelines and a presentation of the annual report. The Dobbs Ferry Planning Board will be meeting Thursday, Jan. 5 at 8 p.m. in Village Hall. The board will be discussing a pre-submission conference for the proposed conversion of support space for the Tenbo restaurant into three dwelling units on Cedar St. There will also be a pre-submission conference for the legalization of a two-lot subdivision of a Sherman Ave. property. The Rivertowns Draft Environmental Impact Statement will be discussed, along with a request to continue the combined application for the amended site plan approval for Mercy College.
