Take a Look at What's Coming Up This Weekend

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – December may be here, but the weather is still warm enough to enjoy plenty of outdoor activities.  There are also several shows and events indoors as well this weekend.  Take a look below and see what’s coming up this weekend.

Friday Night Live returns to Hastings on Friday along with the annual tree lighting at VFW Park. 

On Friday from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Craig Usher and Malcolm MacDougall will be at the Hastings Station Café discussing their sculptures that can be seen around town. 

The Hastings Historical Society will be holding an open house at Draper Park on Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

On Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m.-5 p.m. the Dobbs Ferry Public Library will be having its annual holiday book sale and vintage jewelry sale. 

The Grace Episcopal Church will be having its community table meal Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Hastings Yellowjacket Booster Club will be having its first annual casino night fundraiser at Equalize Fitness Saturday at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $60 each with 50 chips per ticket.   

Winterbloom, the collection of four touring singer-songwriters, will be at South Church in Dobbs Ferry on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door.  Kids under 12 are free.

Ed Young will be presenting his new book, “The House Baba Built: An Artist’s Childhood in China,” at the Hastings Public Library on Sunday at 2 p.m.  Young will sign copies of his book following the reception.
