Take a Look at What's Happening this Weekend

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – If you’re looking for some entertainment this weekend then you are in luck because there are several events scheduled in the village.  The usual farmers markets will be out, but there will also be live performances, festivals and fairs.  Take a look below and see what’s happening this weekend.

On Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. the Dobbs Ferry Farmers Market is back on Cedar St. and will have its usual collection of fresh produce, meats, baked goods and wine.

There will be an opening reception at the Spring St. Gallery in Hastings for Caribe Prints: Pepe Cornado and Barong Photographs: Gina Randazzo from 6-8 p.m. on Friday.

Hastings Friday Night Live returns on Friday from 6-9 p.m. for its Halloween Hoopla.

At 8 p.m. in Hastings, the community center will be hosting musical guest Catie Curtis with special guest Susan Kane.

The Pumpernickel Restaurant in Ardsley will be hosting the Big Blues Band Friday night at 9 p.m.

Saturday from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. the Hastings Farmers Market will be in the Municipal Building parking lot with some of the freshest produce in Westchester.

The Dobbs Ferry PTSA will be hosting its annual pumpkin fair on Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Springhurst Elementary School.

The annual Ardsley Garage Sale will be held Saturday in the Ashford Parking Lot.

The seventh annual Aquefest will be held all weekend and in Hastings, Dobbs Ferry and Irvington on Sunday.  Grammy Award winner Tom Chapin will be performing from 1-2 p.m. at the Keeper’s House at 15 Walnut St. in Dobbs Ferry.

Saturday from 1-4 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. the Hastings Historical Society will be having its 40th anniversary celebration at 407 Broadway.

Dar Williams will be performing at the Purple Crayon in Hastings on Saturday from 8-11 p.m.
