DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. As the weekend approaches there are several events scheduled in the villages to help keep you busy. Take a look below and see if anything interests you.
The Dobbs Ferry Farmers Market will be on Cedar St. on Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
On Saturday from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. the Hastings Farmers Market will be in the Municipal Building parking lot with some of the freshest produce in Westchester.
Hastings Friday Night Live will be at the James Harmon Community Center on Friday and it encourages locals to get a taste of Hastings. There will be food from local restaurants and vendors, cookbook sale, a recipe drive and live music.
The Grace Episcopal Church in Hastings will be having its Grace Community Table meal on Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. The free lunch is an opportunity to spend time with seniors and community members while also providing opportunities to volunteer, which begin at 10:30 a.m.
On Saturday the Dobbs Ferry Public Library will be hosting Looking Up Your Family tree, which will teach those in attendance how to begin Genealogical research and learn more about family history. The event is at 2 p.m. in the librarys community room and features Jerry Coleman of the Westchester County Genealogical Society.
