Images of Secretary of the State Hillary Clinton, a Chappaqua resident, have gone viral in the form of an Internet meme on Tumblr called "Texts from Hillary."
The two-panel meme shows Clinton donning sunglasses on a military jet while having invented text message conversations with celebrities like Ryan Gosling and Mark Zuckerberg and reacting in an unimpressed or casual manner.
The now-famous pictures of Clinton were taken in October while aboard a C-17 Globemaster III flight to Libya. The images were taken by Reuters photographer Kevin Lamarque and White House photographer Diana Walker.
According to MSNBC, The blog was created by friends Adam Smith and Stacy Lambe, who both work in public relations in Washington, D.C. The first image was posted on April 4 and the blog has since been shared on Facebook 69,800 times, resulting in 191,294 likes or comments.
