The Week Ahead in Dobbs Ferry

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – There are several meetings in Dobbs Ferry this week where plenty of hot issues will be discussed, starting with another Rivertowns Square public hearing.  Take a look below at what’s coming up this week in Dobbs Ferry.

The third public hearing for Rivertowns Square will be held Monday night at 6:30 p.m. in the Embassy Club to go over remaining issues with the project.  Topics such as geology, vegetation, wildlife, utilities, noise and neighborhood character will be discussed at the hearing and residents will be given a chance to speak as well. 

The Dobbs Ferry Board of Trustees will be meeting Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. in Village Hall. The board will have public hearings to consider amending various chapters of the village code to start off the meeting, including alarm systems, building construction, housing and others.

The board will also discuss a request from the PTSA to put up a sign for the Used Book Sale at the intersection of Broadway and Cedar Street.  A request from the American Legion Post 1048 to conduct its annual flea markets will be considered.  The board will also consider a 2012 Selective Traffic Enforcement Program grant along with other municipalities in the county.  The full agenda can be seen on the village website.

The Dobbs Ferry Architectural and Historic Review Board will be meeting on Wednesday night at 8 pm. in Village hall.  The board will discuss applications from The Summit for solar light for signs, an awning sign at Fantasy Nail Salon, an awning at Red Star Realty along with an enclosed deck application from a local resident.  The full agenda can be seen on the village website.
