Westchester Man, 40, Killed In Florida Hang-Gliding Accident

HARRISON, N.Y. -- A Harrison man died when he crashed his hang-glider in Florida, according to fox35orlando.com.

Florida authorities say Harrison resident Tomas Banevicius died when his hang-glider (pictured) suddenly nose-dived, sending him crashing 35 feet to the ground.

Tomas Banevicius, 40, a member of U.S. Hang Gliding Inc., a New York group, was killed Tuesday at Dunnellon Airport in Marion County, the fox35orlando.com story said.

Authorities say the crash appeared to be accidental, fox35orlando.com reported.
