RIVERTOWNS, N.Y. – The villages will enjoy a three-day holiday weekend with Monday’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Here are some of the events taking place in and around the Rivertowns this weekend. See our Events page for more items.

Friday, Jan. 18 Hastings Youth Advocacy Program: 5 p.m. Youngsters are welcome to the Friday Night YAP recreation program at the James Harmon Community Center, 44 Main St.,Hastings

Ardsley High School Music: 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. The Ardsley High School Senior Revue is at the high school, 500 Farm Road, Ardsley.

Saturday, Jan. 19 Blood Drive: 2:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. The Slices Pizza Annual Blood Drive at the James Harmon Community Center, 44 Main. St., Hastings.

Hastings Boys Basketball: 11 a.m. The Yellow Jackets travel to Tuckahoe for a league game at Tuckahoe High School, 65 Siwanoy Blvd., Tuckahoe.

Dobbs Ferry Boys Basketball:  3 p.m. The Eagles travel to Yorktown for a game against the Cornhuskers,  at Yorktown High School, 2727 Crompond Road., Yorktown.

Monday, Jan. 21 Martin Luther King Day Breakfast: 10 a.m, - 1 p.m. Rivertowns residents will celebrate Martin Luther King Day and watch the Presidential Inauguration address  at the James Harmon Community Center, 44 Main St. Hastings. Local artist Madge Scott will be honored. Cost: $15 at the door.
