Friday, Nov. 30 Irvington Basketball Tournaments: Boys' and girls' basketball teams from Dobbs Ferry and Ardsley will play in the Irvington High School basketball tournaments Friday and Saturday.

Saturday, Dec. 1 Dobbs Ferry Christmas Tree Lighting: At 5 p.m. on the corner of Cedar and Main streets. Carolers will sing, Santa Claus will greet children and hot chocolate will be served at the Main Street Firehouse.

Ardsley Tree Lighting: The village's Christmas tree lighting is set for 6 p.m. Saturday with ceremonies beginning at the Ardsley Fire House and moving to Legion Park for the tree lighting. Refreshments will then be served at the Community Center, where children will enjoy a visit with Santa Claus.

Ardsley Library: Family story times at 10:30 a.m. for ages 3-6. Stories, songs and special surprises.

Sunday, Dec. 2

Dobbs Ferry Library: There will be a free student musical at 2:30 p.m. (Doors open at 2:15 p.m.), in the Library Community Room.
