Fourth of July calls for a long weekend for many residents in the village and with that in mind most offices and some shops are closed. Here's a rundown of some of the businesses closed on Monday, July 4.
All village offices in Dobbs Ferry, including the mayor's office and village hall, will be closed on Monday.
The Dobbs Ferry Public Library will be closed all day in recognition of the national holiday.
All village offices in Hastings will be closed.
The Hastings Public Library will be closed for the day.
There will be no recycling pickup in Hastings on Monday.
Garbage day has been pushed back from Monday to Tuesday and from Tuesday to Wednesday in Hastings.
Monday is a meter holiday, no change necessary, in Hastings.
The Hastings Recreation Department is closed for the holiday and Hastings Day Camp is not in session that day.
The Chemka Pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. all weekend though.
All village offices in Ardsley are closed for the holiday.
