DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. Now that the weekend is here, there are plenty of ways to keep busy. Take a look below at some of the scheduled events coming up in the villages.
The Hastings PTSA Used Book Fair will be running Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will be held at the Hillside all purpose room.
Friday Night Live returns to Hastings with its Global Sounds theme on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
The Dobbs Ferry Schools Foundation will be having its annual Gala fundraiser with a Footloose theme on Friday night at the Ardsley Country Club starting at 6:30 p.m.
There will be a Grace Community Table meal sponsored by the Grace Episcopal Church on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Purple Crayon in Hastings will be hosting the battle of the teen bands on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. featuring local artists between the ages of 13 and 19.
A live performance from the Honeycutters with RJ Storm and Old School will be held at the South Church in Dobbs Ferry on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
There will be an opening reception for Madeline Wilsons exhibit, Notes from my Backyard, on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Donald Gallery in Dobbs Ferry.
Eleanor Goldstein and Jerry Vis will have their work on display at the Upstream Gallery in Dobbs Ferry on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
