DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. There are several events and meetings coming up in Dobbs Ferry this week including a board of education meeting, Nook night and the school district budget vote.
Monday, May 14
- Architectural Review Board: 8 p.m. The Dobbs Ferry Architectural and Historic Review Board will be meeting Monday night at village hall. 112 Main St.
- Special Education Meeting: 10 a.m. A parents meeting will be held in the Dobbs Ferry High School library to discuss the search for a new head of special education. 505 Broadway.
Tuesday, May 15
- Voting Day: Voting for the 2012-2013 school district budget and the board of education election will be held from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Dobbs Ferry High School gym. 505 Broadway.
- Spring Concert: 7 p.m. The Dobbs Ferry Middle School spring concert will be held on Tuesday night at the middle school. 505 Broadway.
Wednesday, May 16
- Story Time: 1:30 p.m. Story time will be held at the Dobbs Ferry Public Library on Wednesday afternoon. 55 Main St.
- Chess Class: 4:30 p.m. Chess class for grades three through 12 will be held on Wednesday afternoon at the Dobbs Ferry Public Library. 55 Main St.
- Nook Night: 7 p.m. Nook night will be held on Wednesday night to teach residents about the tablets at the Dobbs Ferry Public Library. 55 Main St.
- Springhurst Concert: 7 p.m. The Springhurst grade four chorus and orchestra concert will be held on Wednesday night at Springhurst Elementary School. Walgrove Ave.
Thursday, May 17
- Board of Education meeting: 7 p.m. The Dobbs Ferry Board of Education will be meeting on Thursday night in the high school library. 505 Broadway.
- Toddler Time: 11 a.m. Toddler time will be held at the Dobbs Ferry Public Library on Thursday morning at 55 Main St.
Friday, May 18
- Senior Academy Awards: 7 p.m. The Dobbs Ferry High School senior academy awards will be held on Friday night at the high school. 505 Broadway.
