What's Happening in Hastings This Week

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Training for taking part in an inventory of trees along village streets and meetings of the village and school boards are among events in Hastings this week. For even more events and things to do, check out our Events page.

Monday, April 30

Tree Training: 7:30 p.m. A training and information session will be held for those who wish to participate in this week's inventory of trees along village streets. The inventory is to document the species, size and location of trees in the public right of way. Hastings Public Library, 7 Maple Ave.

Tuesday, May 1

Board of Trustees: 7:30 p.m. The Hastings Board of Trustees will meet in the Municipal Building, 7 Maple Ave.

Board of Education: 8 p.m. The Hastings Board of Education will meet in the high school at 27 Farragut Ave.

Library Programs: Sessions of Let’s Pretend are at 10:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m., and sessions of Out of the Book are at 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the Hastings Public Library, 7 Maple Ave.

Wednesday, May 2

Youth Council: 7:30 p.m. The Hastings Youth Council will meet at the James Harmon Community Center, 44 Main St.

Friday, May 4

Friday Night Live: 6 p.m. Friday Night Live returns to the village with its Dancing in the Streets theme. There will be music, dancing and food in Boulanger Plaza and on Main Street from Whitman to Warburton.
