DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. Friday Night Live, a plant sale and a national competition are some of the events being held in Hastings and Dobbs Ferry this weekend.
Friday, May 4
Blood Drive: 8:30 a.m. There will be a blood drive held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Dobbs Ferry High School auditorium, 505 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry.
Friday Night Live: 6 p.m. Friday Night Live will have a Dancing in the Streets theme and will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Boulanger Plaza and on Main Street.
Saturday, May 5
Plant Sale: 9 a.m. The Garden Club of Dobbs Ferry will be holding its annual plant sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Dobbs Ferry train station.
Jazz Show: 3 p.m. The first annual Jazz Forum Arts Vocal Jazz Competition will be held at the Nepperhan Community Center in Yonkers from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. 342 Warburton Ave., Yonkers.
Sunday, May 6
Pitch, Hit and Run: 1 p.m. The Aquafina Pitch, Hit and Run national competition will be held at Gould Park from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. There is a $5 fee for this event.
