It's been a hot week for residents in the villages with heats soaring to the upper 90's. With the weekend finally upon us, check out some of the activities being offered. Whether you need some new fresh produce at the farmers market, places to keep cool or you're looking to get some safe exercise there's a wide array of activities nearby this weekend.
The Dobbs Ferry Farmers Market will be back on Cedar St. on Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Hastings color artists Evan Read and Jim Napierala will be on hand Friday night to talk about their art, including the blue clouds that have been hanging in front of the Hastings Public Library. The two will be at the Municipal building to discuss their art, which will be on display, from 6-8 p.m.
On Saturday the Hastings Farmers Market will be back on Maple Ave. from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Endless Trail Bikeworx in Dobbs Ferry will be leading a bike ride at the Sprain Ridge Park starting at 8 a.m.
Hastings Velo will also be hosting a bike ride on Saturday. If you're interested you can meet at the store on 45 Main St. in Hastings at 8 a.m.
On Saturday there will be blood drive in Ardsley at the Thelma Zimmer-William Van Dorn Youth & Community Center at 12:00p.m. The community center is located at 18 Center St.
Hastings Velo is hosting a 25 mile bike ride on Sunday morning that goes up through Briarcliff and back. Meet at the store at 7:30 a.m.
