DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Wednesday, Jan. 1, is a federal holiday. Here's a look at what will be open and what will be closed in Dobbs Ferry, Hastings-on-Hudson and Ardsley on New Year's Day.

What's closed:

  • Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley and Hastings-On-Hudson schools and all school offices
  • Hastings-On-Hudson, Ardsley and Dobbs Ferry Village Halls and all village offices
  • All Post Office branches
  • The Dobbs Ferry, Hastings and Ardsley public libraries
  • Most banks
  • All courts and state and federal government offices

What's open:

  • Check with individual restaurants and retail outlets for any special holiday hours on Wednesday.
