Based on the true story of Jordan Belfort, from his rise to a wealthy stockbroker living the high life to his fall involving crime, corruption and the federal government, the film has several scenes that were staged at a vacant service garage in Ardsley Square.

DiCaprio and Scorsese, along with Jonah Hill, shot scenes in the newly created office space inside the garage and along Saw Mill River Road where 1980s cars were brought in to line the street.

Commercial previews of the film currently being shown on television include scenes filmed on Saw Mill River Road and the interior and exterior of the garage.

Matthew McConaughey, Rob Reiner and Margot Robbie are also featured in the film.
