Woman Found Dead In Hudson River Committed Suicide

A woman whose body was pulled from the Hudson River Saturday morning committed suicide, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.

The body, found around 9 a.m. just south of Kaal Rock in the City of Poughkeepsie, was determined to be a suicide according to the medical examiner's office, said Capt. John Watterson.

According to department policy, the woman's identity will not be released, Watterson added.
