Woman Last Seen At ShopRite In Hudson Valley Found Safe

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- The 89-year-old woman last seen Tuesday morning at ShopRite in Airmont has been located and is safe, Ramapo Police report.

No further information has been immediately released.

An 89-year-old Rockland woman who has dementia has gone missing and authorities are asking for the public's help in finding her.

The woman, named Betty and pictured here, was dropped off at ShopRite In Airmont Tuesday morning by a friend and was going to be picked up later at the same location by the friend, Ramapo Police said.

It appears as though she may have boarded a Rockland County TOR bus No. 235 and may have been dropped off in the area of Airmont Gardens, according to police.

The woman lives in Chestnut Ridge and may not be familiar with the Airmont area, according to police.

The picture of her pushing the shopping cart is from surveillance footage from ShopRite Tuesday morning.
