DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Andrea Lewis, a longtime resident of Dobbs Ferry, passed away Thursday, Feb. 5. She was 87.
Born in Biddeford, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Frances Thorne.
Lewis was an artist and musician who had a great appreciation for nature and love for animals.
Lewis is survived by her husband, Charles I. Lewis; children, Joseph (Nancy) Sparta Jr., Ann (Ralph) Paparo and Thomas (Gina) Sparta; grandchildren Christina, Kaitlyn, Mark, Michael, Julia, Ryan, Natalie and Susan.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph M. Sparta Sr., and by her two stepsons, Charles O. Lewis and Edward Lewis.
A memorial service will be held at Ferncliff Cemetery Chapel in Hartsdale on Saturday, Feb. 14, at 1 p.m.
