ELMSFORD, N.Y. – Arlene Bellantoni, a longtime Elmsford resident and former business owner, died Monday, Dec. 10, in Mohegan Lake. She was 70.
Born May 9, 1942, in Tarrytown, Bellantoni was the daughter of Thomas and Jene McShane Sr. Formerly of Elmsford, Bellantoni was the owner of McShane’s Restaurant, along with her husband of 48 years, Sal.
She is survived by her husband; three children, Kim (Robert) Annicchiarico, Jeff (Jennifer) Bellantoni and Cris (Susan) Bellantoni; two sisters, Mary Ann (Richard) Hoke and Carolyn (Michael) Staruch; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Nora McShane; and a brother, Thomas McShane.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home in Elmsford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Shrub Oak. Burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, N.Y.
