ARDSLEY, N.Y. – Donna Marie Cillo of Ardsley and Carmel, N.Y., died Saturday, Sept. 8. She was 44.
Cillo was a resident of the Simpson Road Group Residence in Carmel. She was diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome and faced many challenges in her life. She most enjoyed being with family and friends, especially her nephews. Cillo was always thoughtful and would amaze people with her sincere compassion, sense of humor, generosity and keen insight, her family said.
She is survived by her parents, Kathleen and Louis Cillo of Ardsley; a sister, Kim (John) Aitcheson; two nephews; and a niece.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home in Dobbs Ferry. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Ardsley.
