Eileen T. McCulloch, 86, Worked In St. Matthew’s School In Hastings

MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. - Eileen T. McCulloch (nee Buckley) died Dec. 29. She was 86.

McCulloch was born March 5, 1927, to John and Mary (nee Deehan) Buckley. She attended the Academy of Mount Saint Ursula and graduated from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in 1948.
She worked as an administrative assistant in area Catholic schools, including Holy Name of Jesus in Valhalla, and St. Matthew's School in Hastings. She was a parishioner of Saint Anthony's Church since 1965 and was a member of the Altar Society for many years.

McCulloch is survived by her daughter, Mary J. (Joseph) Nowak of Yonkers; son, Donald Sean McCulloch (Robin) of Leominster, Mass.; two grandsons; and a niece. She was predeceased by her husband, Don; sister, Mary (Catherine) Regan; brother, John T. Buckley; and niece Joan Regan, M.D. Eileen.

Calling hours are Thursday January 2 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Jan. 3 at 9:45 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
