RIVERTOWNS, N.Y. -- Gemma Ciarletto (nee Tarantelli), 100, died at Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry Saturday, Aug. 15.
She was born in Mt. Vernon, where she married Anthony Ciarletto on Feb. 20, 1944; he predeceased her in 1960.
Gemma is survived by her daughters, Nancy Capone of Yonkers; Sandra (Ian) Coyle of Stony Point and Marianne (Robert) Scott of Sparks, NV. She was predeceased in February by her daughter Lenora (Daniel) Bonacci of Yonkers.
In addition to her daughters, she is also survived by her grandchildren, Dennis A. Chansky of Yonkers; Anthony Chansky of Florida; Richard and Joseph Yarolin of Yonkers; Joseph, Jason and Lauren LaBarbera of Yonkers; and six great-grandchildren.
Visiting will take place on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home in Dobbs Ferry. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Church in Yonkers. For more information visit Edwardsanddowdle.com
