DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Josephine "Jean" Cariot of Dobbs Ferry died Friday, July 25. She was 92.
Cariot along with her sister-in-law, Josephine Angelo, owned and operated the House of Charm on Main Street in Dobbs Ferry for 40 years. For the past four years, she resided at Ozanam Nursing Home in Bayside, Queens.
Cariot is survived by her children, Loretta (Paul) Croese, Jim (Michelle) Cariot and Carla (Joe) Del Castillo; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Phil Cariot.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at Sacred Heart Church in Dobbs Ferry. Interment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
Donations in Cariot's memory may be made to Ozanam Hall.
