DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - Kathleen C. Hashim of Dobbs Ferry died July 16. She was 83.
Hashim was born in Brooklyn to Frank and Helen Conaty. She graduated from St. Elizabeth's College in New Jersey where she majored in English Literature.
Hashim is survived by her husband, Sami Hashim M.D.; son, Paul (Mary Lynn) Hashim; daughter, Susan (Steven) Ringler; and five grandchildren.
Calling hours are Friday, July 18 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19 at the Church of St. Matthew's, Hastings-on-Hudson.
Memorial contributions in Hashim's name may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
