DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Kathleen Sommer, a longtime resident of Dobbs Ferry, died May 22. She was 85.
Sommers was born in Bayside, Queens, to George and Elizabeth Palmer.
She was predeceased by her parents and husband Donald, and is survived by by her children, Michael and his wife Rebecca, Richard and his wife Susan, Kathy, and Mary and her husband John; grandchildren Tesia, Adoria, Chris, Rachel, David, Samantha, Anna and Andrew; and her sister Nancy Daley.
Visiting hours will be from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave, Dobbs Ferry.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Church, 16 N. Broadway, Irvington.
Memorial contributions can be made in Sommer's name to the Pattaya Orphanage, P.O. Box 15, Pattaya City, Cholburi 20150, Thailand.
