Kenneth Gross, 53, Longtime Westchester Community College Employee

Kenneth F. Gross, 53, a longtime Westchester Community College employee and a Fishkill resident for 15 years, died on Thursday, May 25, at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, surrounded by family and friends.

Gross, who worked for the past 27 years at Westchester Community College, was born in New York City on August 5, 1963, and grew up in Long Island and Westchester. 

He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Cold War. As a veteran, Gross was a board member of Rolling Thunder Chapter #3, was an active volunteer at Castle Point VAMC, and was a former member of the Patriot Guard. 

He was an avid reader and enjoyed many hobbies including model making, ham radio and riding his motorcycle.

Gross is survived by his son, Adam Price and his wife Christina of Pickerington, Ohio; his grandchildren, Mia, Madelyn, and Emilee; his mother, Anita (Lewin) Myers of Fairfield, Conn.; his love, Robin Evangelista of Fishkill; his siblings, Karen Greenwood and her husband James of Fairfield, Conn.; Benjamin Gross and his wife Cherry Libramonte, DMD of Brooklyn, and Lauren Gross of New York City; his stepmother, Rosa Ament; his nephews, Ian, Jagger, Morgan and Breslin and his niece Emma; many aunts and cousins; and his extended brothers, sisters, and gold star mothers of Rolling Thunder. He was predeceased by his father, Charles M. Gross.

A memorial service will be held on July 15, with the time and location to be determined.
