HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Mary L. Martin, 84, died Oct. 16.
Martin was born and raised in Yonkers, moving to Hastings in the late 1960s.
She worked as a nurse for 20 years at St. Joseph's Medical Center and enjoyed church activities and being a member of the Hastings Busy Bees.
Martin is survived by her husband George Martin; children David Martin; Nancy Dukarm (John); Glenn Martin (Nancy); Paul Martin; brother Robert Ahlstedt and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Avenue, Dobbs Ferry. A funeral service will be tomorrow, Oct. 21, at the First Reformed Church. 10522.
