DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - Mildred Ovadek of Dobbs Ferry died June 18. She was 90.
Ovadek was the daughter of Pasquale and Anna Delmerico. She was born and raised in Dobbs Ferry and lived there since 1923. She worked for over 35 years as a waitress at the Tarrytown Conference Center. She was a member of the Daughters of Italy in Dobbs Ferry as well as the Sacred Heart Church Senior Group.
Ovadek is survived by her children, John Paul and Richard; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and sister, Antoinette Marconi. She was predeceased by her husband, John P. Ovadek.
Calling hours are Sunday, June 23 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave, Dobbs Ferry. The Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 24 at 10:30 a.m.
